Has anyone got a dog guard for the sliding door and if so, where did you get it from. Thank you!

Was thinking of something that is higher and secure, so I can leave the door open and no-one can get in, and doggie can't get out!

You'd need it in metal with secure fixings, but you could likely still reach in and unlock passenger's door.

No doubt an engineering shop could fabricate something to suit. :)

Hi
These people will make anything:
http://www.barjo.co.uk/dog-guards
I have a front and a rear dog guard made by them...the rear has a door in it. A couple of other members have them...They need to measure your van, but it's worth the trips to measure/ pick up.
Cheers
Helen

Look at Moonfrost Crates and cages ( and malamutes ) they custom make guards and are cheaper ( and much more polite! ) than banjo

Located near Stonehenge

That MoonFrost site looks good. That security door over the sliding door would be great for hot summer days and nights ..... and I'm not talking for the dog, but for me!!!

Do we need to lock you in for safety Jilly?

I can just see you slipping past it at night and doing a runner a la Cerys.

How about a retractable type pet gate?

Space saving which is good for the Bongo!

Mmmm retractagate looks good but a taller one would be better for the bongo (to stop me!).

Have a look at Dreambaby gates. They come in a wide range of sizes for wide American hallways and other sizes. There is a door in the gate and they can be extended on one or both sides. I have one to stop the awful Cerys rushing the front door. Mine is bolted to the wall to stop her shoulder charging it, but any normal dog will be fine with it fitted as removable. Just google them. Extra height ones available as well.

My hall looks like Winchester prison, but no escapes
