locks going mad

Some time ago all the door locks started to go mad, it sounded as though someone was trying to remotely lock or unlock the doors very fast. My local garage said it was a battery problem and I replaced one of the batteries. My daughter has borrowed the Bongo and just reported that it is doing it again. Please any ideas? It will drain the battery eventually if it continues as that is what happened last time.

Have you got keyless central locking? If so could that be faulty?

I'm guessing you could pull one of the fuses as a temporary fix. Not sure which on, but someone will know, and it may stop other stuff working.
Do you have after market remote locking?

Looks like No. 4 and it doesn't seem to do anything else:

It might be worthwhile checking the wiring loom between the door and the drivers foot well side panel for Bare wires and or bad connections..

Did replacing the battery solve the problem as soon as it was fitted? How long was it fine for before it started happening again? Is it factory fitted remote locking or more common central locking operated from drivers door key?
