Bongo Fury

Hi guys, my rear internal roof light no longer comes on when i open the sliding door.
It works when switched on from inside.
Where do i start.

try cleaning pins on contacts

Door contacts ..??

I have no rear interior light in my JAL (yes weird I know) ..

But I thought the rear light switch was the one at the rear of the sliding door ..??

Check out the door open/close switch located low down on the rear pillar of the sliding door. Could be sticking.

The switch goes directly to earth. Below I3-07 on this diag: http://www.g8dhe.net/bwm/bwmanualp.htm?1995/Page_102

Took said switch off and gave the earth a rub with wet n dry. Back together and all well,
