Indicator fault

My right hand indicator has just started to double flash when operated this happened about 4 weeks ago then just went normal again need to sort as due MOT and looking to sell.

Could well be one of the bulbs is failing or an 'Iffy' conection.

If it does it again have a look and see if one end isn't working while the other does double time.

You could replace both bulbs as a precaution.

Most makes of cars / motor bikes do that to warn you one of the bulbs is not working ..

If you can't wait for it to go wrong again, try removing a bulb and see if you get the same double flash. Then check contacts and connections for corrosion. Earthing for the headlight can become suspect, not sure if the same applies to the front indicator.
