Bongo Fury

Hi all.

The front r/bar D-bushes on my 96 2.5D 2WD are shot. Does anyone know of any correct size PU bushes that fit? I would prefer this solution as it would be lifelong for my old bus. I looked on evilbay with no luck.

As far as we know there are no compatible ARB bushes, only the Mazda originals. Generally available for around £6.50 plus postage & VAT. Club Shop have them in stock.

On a tip from a mechanic and bongo owner i refurbished mine by relining with layers of cycle inner tube, held in place with cycle inner tube. I don't think they've needed redoing in the 9 years since i made the repair!

Are the bushes vehicle specific ..??

I would have thought as long as the Anti roll bar diameter and 'saddle' width was specified they would be universal ..??

I think if you sent a new one to powerflex they would make one or have a compatible one. I was going to do it but never got around to it.

You should be able to get them at a motor factors or Amazon for about £3.00 each.
