Washer bottle and 1 window blind not working

Hi everyone.

This is proving a great place to get help for Bongo stuff. In addition to my other post about Gearbox noise, I have 1 windows blind that doesn't work, either by it's own switch, or the main one at the front. This window also has a damaged window seal and I can see daylight through it. I guess this is the motor for the blind? Are these seals easily sourced and easy to change? It's the drivers side middle window.

Also the front window washer doesn't work. I can;t hear the motor working at all. Fuse is OK so again I guess this is the motor/pump. Are these easy sourced too?

It only passed its MOT last month so not sure how all these things got through or failed in the last few weeks. Brake light switch failed on the way home too. I took it out and WD40'd it as a temporary fix which worked until I get a new one.

Thanks in advance.

Matt

Electrical stuff on old Bongos can play up esp in this damp cold weather. I carry a can of comma electric contact cleaner with me (search am Amazon for reviews). Try spray blind switch first and go from there.

Cheap replacement washer pumps available for around a tenner. Had some problems with mine plus a leak but now sorted after an overhaul :-)
