My Grand daughter posted this pic on face book ..

If you look on a pound coin there is a shield .. group our other coinage as shown and the lines on each coin combine to also make a shield ..

And if she turns that 20p over and there is no date it's worth £60-£120
There's about 6000 of them in circulation

You'd curse if that was your last 20p and you needed a public loo.

Expensive Pee.

Is it 20p nowadays?

I would have expected it to be at least 50p, if not a quid.

Anyone remember that favourite bog (we didn't seem to call them loos then) door graffiti 'Here I sit, broken hearted...'?

Right then, lets wander off thread and into some toilet humour. My favourite was a public loo in Belper, some 45 years ago, wherein was writ on the wall:

KILROY WAS HERE

and underneath that, by some later visitor and wit:

CLAP YOUR HANDS AND JUMP FOR JOY
I WAS HERE BEFORE KILROY

and then underneath that, by some other still later visitor and wit:

WIPE THAT SMILE FROM OFF YOUR FACE
KILROY BUILT THIS EFFING PLACE

Now that's my kind of humour

And seen above the loo roll holder in Aston University:

Sociology Degrees - Please Take One.

No, I didn't go there.

Also from the archives:

Its no good standing on the seat
The crabs in here can jump six feet

Also at Belper:

PLEASE DON'T PUT YOUR FAG ENDS IN THE TOILET
AFTER ALL, WE DON'T CR*P IN YOUR ASHTRAYS

  8)

Hi
Did you know that limbo dancing was first discovered by someone trying to get under a bog door with a bent penny in their hand?
Cheers
