Bongo Fury

Looking to modernize the front end of our 1996 Bongo. I wondered if you can fit the later model grille without modifications? Do you need to change the lights or anything else?

You cant just change the grill no, The only grill you can change to is another same shape mazdaspeed or modified grill. If you want to change grill to the latest shape you need.

Underlight Panels
Front Grill
Front Bumper.

I was going to do the same to mine and just posted a for sale post in the ads section of this site 10 min ago. I have all the parts to facelift the front and rear including xenon headlights grill underlight panel and front bumper its all for sale as I need the cash to finish off my racecar so if your interested send me a pm and we can talk.

Mmmm. Food for thought. I was only really considering it if it wasn't too expensive.

No problems if you change your mind after christmas give me a shout

I have a mazdaspeed grill in mine basically it's just expanded metal with a Mazda badge on it, however it looks very effective on my 1996 model, it could be done by just trimming a section of expanded metal using your old grill as a template, removing the middle section of you existing grill, attaching the new section of exp metal sheet and simply buying a Mazda bagel from eBay.
