Stereo fascia

Guys,

My incumbent (ooooooh get me) stereo is the original Jap CD/Tape/Radio combo and is approx twice the height of a standard stereo.

I am thinking of replacing it with a DVD/CD so I can get a tft monitor and listen to the radio and cd's

If this was any other car i would pop down Halfords and get the usual fascia surround for the car model. But something tells me if I say Bongo to the spotty oik down there he will look very blank.

Anyone help? or do I have a unique double height steroe issue!

Theres a recent post on here about it somewhere and you can get blanks. I've got a work transit and when I took the big double decker stereo out I went in to Halfrauds and bought a nice moulded blank to fit the hole.

Hedge,

take a look at Bongo bits site, they do a cubby box that will fill the gap that's left once you fitted cd player,
and can store your cd's in it!

I know Tom at http://www.bellhillgarage.co.uk definitely has 'em. He has replaces by 2-up jap stereo with a Kenwood + cubby for the SVA
