Change short runners to long runners

Hello Bongo comrades,

Does anyone if it's possible to change the short runners to long runners? I'm not sure of the implications/work involved, not a hands-on person myself. Imagine it's going to involve drilling into the floor etc.

Thanks as always :)
Steve

P.S. Specifically want the long runners as they're more compatible with the 'Outback' conversion.

It should be fairly straight forward, the grooves and holes for the bolts are there in all models.
the only problem is the bolts for the gull wing seats will foul the sliding bench seats if you push them back too far.

Below is a thread from ages ago with a picture of a bongo with long runners fitted to a flippy seat bongo

What compatibility issues do you think you will have ? I have the outback conversion with the short runners. It bolts straight onto the original studs with 'L' brackets.

Oh that's good to know nth! In my previous Bongo I had the short runners and reversed them so the seat faced backwards. Couldn't get the seat to recline though! From memory, it couldn't slide forward enough so that it cleared the front console and seats. It's the same issue as westonwarrior forwarded above. Have you not come across the same problem? Thanks for any info :)
