You have my sympathies - after 8 years of ownership that problem came my way (though no bubbling in my case). Have you checked out the recommended garages list in the members area? Several owners around Aberdeen so hopefully one of them can advise also. My view is that if they chose to, any diligent local garage could do the job but (1) it might cost more as they are not familiar with the car and (2) they'd have to absolutely promise (maybe with you watching!) to carry out the bleed procedure by the book. But the bleed procedure should not be too daunting - I did mine twice, on my own, and I was a novice. I cheated a bit by not draining the rear heater, which I personally suspect is what can cause particular problems. I reasoned that what was left in there would be diluted quite acceptable by refilling the rest of the system, and I never had any problem.

I wouldn't drive it until its sorted, you may well do a lot of damage.
Welcome to the Forum, and sorry I can't help with a mechanic your way, but good luck.

Members area is here:
http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/member ... rsonly.htm
You have to be a paid up BF member and put in the members password etc. to access it, but membership is not expensive and I've always done it as a thank you for all the benefit BF brings to members (this great forum for one, the marvellous annual Bongo Bash for another, and the great collection of 'how to' technical advice sheets available in the members area also). Go on, you know it makes sense

I got this when I first got my Bongo. It just needed bled of air properly. Try that first if you haven't already.
