leak, aircon drain or something else?

I've noticed below the bongo where the sliding door is I get the same puddle each time I stop. Yesterday I put my head under for a look and the water was dripping constantly from a small plastic fitting. Is this for the aircon I wonder? I am not losing any water from the cooling system but maybe this is accumulated condensation? I had the aircon on quite alot yesterday as it was so warm in Austria.

Any ideas welcome, thanks.

Aircon usually drips on the drivers side just behind drivers seat
Is your water tank level ok

As I recall, there are no pipes or sources of leaks in the vicinity of the sliding door. Have you got a tintop with a sunroof? Try getting a sheet of cardboard and leave it under the van for a while and hopefully it wil be possible to establish the location of the drip. The A/C condensation will appear directly under the two units: front centre (in line with windscreen) and on the drivers side rear under in line with the heater controls.

Yes the water tank is solid. Level has been the same since a service a week ago.

it is an aft. The drip comes out here, plastic top left. This is directly under the sliding door.Image

When I felt it with my hand as it was dripping yesterday, it was cold so it can't be the cooling water as my temperature reading was about 84 when I stopped.

I have noticed it dripping in dry conditions so I don't think it is rain either.

Cheers.

It's not a fresh water tank is it? Do you have a kitchen installed with a sink etc?

That looks like a drain hole in the chassis which would indicate you have water somewhere in the chassis by the sliding door, perhaps in the section below the bottom runner. Take the hatch off the side step and check what's going on in there.

I have a sink yes but it is plumbed on the other side of the vehicle. The tank is just a plastic effort under the sink and the waste goes out past the rear o/s wheel so it is not that.

I'm wondering if rain is getting into this by spray from the front n/s wheel and pooling. Then dripping out slowly.

I'll double check here as well. Had a quick look before and all seemed ok. Think there is a gap between that hatch and where the dripping is coming from so water getting in somewhere. Does anyone else have that small plastic plug in the chassis?
