Bongo Fury

My bongo has a rear Conversion across the back with one tall cupboard to the right. We have a rear facing bench seat and hole in the floor type table which sits close to the rear facing bench seat.

This all works well but I am finding storage very limited as half the rear unit is taken up with gas and water bottles.

I would like in time (and with additional funds) to add a couple of overhead lockers but in the mean time has anyone got any cheapish suggestions for adding a seat box or something similar over the wheel arch on the driver side rear and extra worktop/storage over the passenger side rear wheel arch. (The only issue with this side is that the existing cupboard in the rear conversion would open on to anything here.

I would looking at storage boxes and camping cupboards to put in the rear which solve the issues but do not make use of the space set back above the wheel arches into the sides of the van.

Also best things for adding storage underneath the rear bench seat please.

We use an array of low storage boxes under a bench seat. Suits us because we can get to them from either behind or front of seat. I've seen postings of drawers on wheels under a seat, bit like some home underbed storage solutions.
I have built a small platform that stands over the wheel arch. It comes out far enough to use the rail in the floor to secure it. (Coach bolt with its head cut down to form a T will go into the rail and lock off when turned 90deg and pulled upwards). Anything can then be mounted on the level platform, and depending on how far out it comes there is a little cubby hole underneath up to the wheel arch.
