Hey everyone thanks for the help with the sticky steering all sorted
Can anyone recommend what amp size of leisure battery to get I thought of a 115 amp but not enough room under the bonnet for it
I seen a 95 amp that I think may fit I would be glad to hear any ideas you may have on this subject I am almost finished building my rock and roll 3/4 bed then I will make the units for the sink cooker and fridge along with storage hope to be fineshed in the next few weeks if anyone can help with advice for the battery it would be great thanks

We use a 95AmpHr no problems, the Mx I've heard being fitted was a 120AmpHr, do check carefully there may be more height than you think as the strengthing support for the bonnet has gaps built into it for the terminals!

I'd go as big as you can fit. I think mine is 85Ah, but I would have tried to squeeze a bit of a bigger one it (still room to the sides!)
I'm sure people have had 100Ah ones in.

We survive fine over long weekends with much less (65 or 75 Ah, can't remember). Our usage however is modest : strip light, radio and phones. Oh and playing with leccy blinds

I have a 110amp Quinton Hazell Powerbox leisure battery in my 2L tin top - it's a bit of a squeeze but I am glad of the extra power. It keeps my fridge going for 3 - 4 days

135Ah Energy Bull fitted in mine.

I took a risk buying but it fitted - just, need to move the header tank coolant pipe to one side when removing/refitting it but it comes out easily. Great battery, recommended to me by Mikexgough.

I have an 110ah on a standard Mazda (starter) battery tray .. it still on the 'wall' .. rather than inside .. but being a 'snug' fit its not going anywhere .. (I fitted a thick rubber 'cushion' on the base of the tray) ..
Still fits under the rain channel / flitch and plenty of space between the terminals and the bonnet ..

I bought a 100 amp leisure battery designed for vw campers where they fit under the seats, fits with loads of space to spare and was about 80 quid I think
