They look the same to me as well 8) Suspect it's another case of adding Bongo to the name and trebling the price

The more expensive ones claim:
"MAZDA BONGO REAR WHEEL ARCHS

*****NEW NOW BETTER ARCH RADIUS FIT*****

Suitable All Models 1995 - 2006

The New Panels Have a Much Better Fitting Curve Around The Arch.

This Makes It Much Easier To Fit The Inner Arch.

You Will Still Need To Trim It.

These Archs Are The Best And Closest Match On Sale Anywhere"
Maybe you should contact the seller and ask how/why they are better than the standard Sprinter arch offering?

They both look like sprinter arches to me, they are a much better radius than transit ones, as I have said many times, but you still need to add a piece in the middle about 1" long or the bumper will not mate up properly.

There was a chap at the Bash who supplied a bodyshop with a pair of arches (possible the Sprinter ones). They fitted them & all looked peachy until they refitted the rear bumper & there was shortfall as they were unaware of having to add the extra section in  . Whichever arches you go for, ensure the bodyshop use the rear bumper as a reference point to ensure a smooth transition.

This explains a lot,I've seen one just done where the bumper doesn't line up and couldn't work out why.I've seen reference to"shaping to fit"and other such terms mentioned but never actual mention of the extra piece needed. The guy who did the work is local to me and the rest of the job, paint match, blending in and such looks excellent and his price is very good but the bumper not mating up put me off,Think I'll nip back in and see him again with this new info.

I too fell foul of the arch not meeting the bumper. I wasn't happy with the look, so 3D scanned the arch/bumper area and designed some parts that could be bonded onto the bumper and re-match the contours. I 3D printed, hand finished and painted them. I have mudf laps on the rear bumper, so they were only short sections. I could send people the files to fabricate their own if that's helpful.

Cheers

That's innovative. =D>

Getting back to the sprinter arches,to add the extra piece is it just a matter of cutting them in two and adding and shaping the new piece in?

Yes just cut in the centre and piece a bit in, leave the bumper on to line them up first though.
I did have an original post from a couple of years ago with loads of pictures showing the extra piece welded in but not sure where it went. I could find my pics and add them again if anyone is interested.

Hi Stuc. I'd be very interested. I'm struggling to visualise the work that has to be done.
