Pulling to the left

Hello techie folk
Ever since we got our 4WD Bongo 2 1/2 years ago, it's always pulled a little to the left. You only notice this at motorway speeds.
The tyres were changed a while back and this made no difference. Pressures are equal.
To get the Bongo to go straight, the steering wheel has to be slightly turned to the right. If I were to take my hands off it, it centralizes itself in relation to the steering column but the Bongo then starts slowly turning left.
I thought I could live with this and could have until I noticed the front left tyre is more worn on the outside part than all the others tyres.
Is there anything I should look at? - I'll get the tracking done but I'm sure this was done quite recently by the local (good) garage.
I'd like to know what might be going on.
I'm hoping its not related to the 4WD system
