Beeping roof

Hi All

I need some advice. My beloved Freeda has developed an annoying problem. The roof beeps continuously when I am driving. there is no light on the dashboard. She goes up fine and stops beeping, and she comes down beeping, and then will not stop. I have looked and she seems to be down fully, and I have wiped all around the rubber sill. Has anyone come across this before and if so could they fix it, or do I need to take her to a garage (I live in the northampton/bedford area), and if so any suggestions.

Thanks

I bought some Comma switch cleaner off Amazon after my microswitch had a turn in cold/damp weather. Seems to have worked great and I'd recommend Bongo owners keeping a can in stock as switches are getting a little old and cranky (like me). 8)

here you go:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/cars/dp/B003IIG ... ch+cleaner

Keep it in the car in case trouble strikes on the road.
