Retracting mirror motor

So, my drivers side mirror was wobbly and doesn't retract.
I stripped it down, and found the motor was dead.
I ordered a replacement from the details on http://igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/view ... or#p623566
That came, but found it still doesn't work.
I've narrowed it down to the switch inside the motor that stops it when it is fully open/closed.
Comparing it to the other mirror, the diodes are dead.
I get no flow through the diodes.
Now, I am stuck on what to buy..
There are 2 diodes, both the same.
They have a green band on the cathode end, and markings E 5A on them.
I'm pretty sure they are the diode on http://www.g8dhe.net/bwm/bwmanualp.htm?1995/Page_112
under the X17 and X14 switches.
I know very little about diodes.. can anyone tell me what to buy to replace them.. if maplin have them even better.
or it is these? http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00HGALQLY
