But seriously, I have one of the very first, pre-production Haydn low coolant alarms. Its been great but its buzzer is getting a tiny bit slow to go off when I turn the ignition on and it self tests. And it has done the occasional minor performance for a second or two when running, for no reason. It might be the screws are getting a little old and coated and whilst I could attempt to clean them, I found coolant dribbled out when I removed one (contrary to the experience of others) for cleaning. Simplest might be to fit two new screws but I don't want to mess up the threading in the header tank by fitting incorrect ones, plus they need to be the right quality. Does anyone know if the correct screws can be purchased anywhere or will I need to contact Haydn Alarms?

Buying a non standard screw is asking for trouble, the diameter,thread, pitch, length and quality are all important.

Excellent, and thanks both. Don't want to damage my equipment by screwing around with the wrong crowd. All those parameters are important for a good screw.

Contact Jo via the website and ask for a larger one......just replace the top screw....lower screw not really required.
