Red light flashing on dash???

Hi all, can someone tell me why the red light is flashing on my dash, the roof is elevated and the wife is downstairs with the grandkids, the doors are locked from the inside and keys are out of the ignition, is something wrong?? Thanks for your patience with a newbee

Which symbol is it that is flashing? Or is it an added switch/light?

Hi Geoff, I think it's the immobiliser bulb ( little red bulb) I think it turns green normally when immobilised? I'm sure it's the light that flashes when reversing or flashes when reverse beep sounds?

Immobiliser will flash red when not in use
It's flashing bulb is like a deterrent to thieves to stop bongo getting nicked
I don't have one in mine is it an added extra

Thanks for both your reassurances! It was already fitted next to the cig lighter when we got our bongo thanks again
