I have F/R Parking sensors , the problem I have is the bleeping has stopped . It still shows me on the dash how far I am from obstacles . Is there a different fuse for the bleeb ?
No, this isnt a wind up, on this special day for pulling pranks.

Geoff I have checked all the fuses under the dash and they are all intact , all other relavant bleeps ie when you turn ignition oo ect, work ok.
Still no bleeps from parking censor .

I'm guessing this is an after market fit, so you could have a line fuse fitted anywhere.

Can you follow the wires from either end?

Dont quote me but I think they were factory fitted on some Bongo's you have one sensor on the driivers side front bumper and four sensors on the rear. I have seen quite a few around.
Someone out there must know were my bleep as gone .

Check the settings menu - on ours, the press of a button turns the sensors onto silent mode.
Be nice if this is the solution for you...

Had anything been done just before the bleeping stopped ?
Thinking about it it doesn't appear to be connected to the rest of the Bongos SWS, but nor does it appear to have any holes in the displays for a bleeper to emit a sound from on ours I'll have a closer look tomorrow!
I assume you don't get any error message on the display when it first turns on and does it self check ?

Hi Geoff , DONT get any messages on the dash but to answer your first question Yes I had done something out of the ordinary . My battery went flat so I jump started it .THEN NO BLEEPS. SO has the surge done a relay in or not .

Ah, right. Anyway checked mine and yes the sounder for the bleep seems to be internal to the display module, rather than from the rest of the SWS.
So whatever has caused the problem, and a jump start sounds a possibility, your going to have to take a look at or replace at worst the front display.
I think its held in place by the usual spring clips, but never had to remove mine and its reluctant to come out as I just gave it a push/pull in all directions, but has the feel of being springs holding it in place.
See here
http://lushprojects.com/bongopartsmk2/c ... 2of03.html
it looks like 4 springs on the underneath, certainly no fixing bolts/nuts shown!
I don't have the circuit for the unit, otherwise I would have put it up on the wiring diagrams, and I can't remember anyone reporting a fault before, so looks like your a first!
