Electrical Issue (Immobiliser) - HELP!

HELP! I seem to have broken my Bongo, or at least can't get it started. Wondering what I've done wrong and how to fix it so any ideas greatly welcome!
I have a radio hard wired to the battery. Also have a solar panel fitted. I put the old Japanese radio on with the engine and zig unit off and it was working for a while and then stopped mid-track thought it had eaten the CD so turned it off then on and got the eject to work. After this it was on radio and the screen kept cutting off and then on again in time to the radio cutting out.
I had a look under the bonnet at where it is wired to the leisure battery and fiddled with the fuse on the wire. At this point there was a beep from the cab (maybe the immobiliser? Also the strange announcement from the faint female Japanese voice you get at startup, or is that just me?!). Anyway, the central and remote locking sounds really really weak now, as does the electronic shut on the sliding door. There's no display at all on the radio (ready for the bin probably), but most concerning is the Bongo won't start. No bbacklight on the air con made me wonder about the starter battery. Haven't run it for a week, but why would it go flat in this time when it's been fine before?
I wonder if I have tripped the immobiliser and even with the dongle it won't let me start, Because the immobiliser light is flashing vigorously at me when I turn the key but don't get the click.
Have I tripped the immobiliser by wiggling the fuse under the bonnet? If so, how do I reset? If I've messed with the leisure battery, why would starter battery functions be effected? Has this got anything to do with the solar panel, the fact I plugged in some towbar electrics in this afternoon, the hard wire to the radio or maybe something else?
Any ideas, let me know! I'm due to take it on a 12 day trip on Wednesday but before I call an electrician for something really daft, I thought I'd ask for the wisdom of the group!
Thanks!
