Brake Light failure

I have a 2001/2 Ford Freda with the new style lighting cluster. Both brake lights have failed at once but the strip brake light at the top of the rear door is still working. Is this likely to be a fuse or are they all on the same fuse in which case it must be something else? How so I go about sourcing and changing a fuse if that is the problem?

Thanks

Paul

You can get 'mini fuses' from anywhere like Halfords or Maplins, but as already suggested, the most likely problem will be a couple of blown bulbs. To remove the clusters, open the tailgate, undo the cross head screws next to the lights and gently pry the unit rearwards. It's mounted on plastic ball and socket arrangements so should ping out / in with some careful persuasion.

Let us know how you get on.

As advised, both bulbs blown. Now replaced and everything hunky dory.

Thanks!
