If it's got or had a tow bar it might be the flasher buzzer for the trailer your hearing and might be only one side wired or working

mine only sounds when my trailer is connected so may well be a prob with the wiring making it beep on one side

You might be going deaf in your left ear

Try plugging something suitable (trailer, caravan, lighting board or test plug) into the trailer socket (assuming there is one) and see if the beeping is the same when indicating left. That way you know it's the trailer warning buzzer you are hearing and there is a problem with the right indicator circuit. Lots of towbar electrics are fitted using ScotchLok connectors and they are not well known for their long term reliablity.

Cheers Simon - I would not have thought of the tow bar electrics as never used it.
Guess it must be a faulty connection as it is a intermittent beep! Maybe I should leave it as stops forgetting to cancel right indicator be handy if left beeped as well :) (Reminds me of my youthful motorcycling days =P~ ) but may annoy if in a queue with window open
A friendly neighbour has a trailer :-k
