Leisure Battery problems

My 1998 1990 cc petrol bongo is having real trouble with her leisure battery. She has had a new splitter put on, a new car battery and yet the leisure battery is still draining the car battery within three days. I have disabled the leisure battery (taken a fuse out of it) and this is the only way I can ensure she fires up every day. However, I cannot use the fridge or indeed the internal lights at the back. Any suggestions would be greatly welcomed. Many thanks, Bongo Girl Kim (Cumbria)

Where did the Split Charge Relay come from or who fitted it ?
Presumably both batteries are being discharged as well not just the SB?
Can you provide any photo's of the setup ?
Without a bit more info its rather difficult to say what is happening....

Yes clearly something isn't working or wasn't fitted right. But from what you've told us exactly what, can't be identified.

Have you got a power management system installed?
Something like these

If so, check that you have all the switches set correctly, it's very easy to get it wrong and have the SB and LB working together (which it sounds like you have) which will cause the SB to flatten if you are running the fridge etc.
The switching is not very intuitive and on some units does seem to do the opposite of what you would expect.
