Hi all,
Is there one on the Bongo? and would it be part of a regular service to remove and clean? i 'm only asking as when i asked the dealer i noticed it was not one of the items that had been replaced or cleaned out by the garage he employed.
If you get my drift

The air filter, oil and filter and level have been done according to my conversion and paperwork.

Yes there's 2
A normal throw away one and a banjo filter
Banjo is very small and in a pipe / hole on top of fuel pump
Both same side under drivers seat if I remember correctly
Good idea to replace filter and clean banjo remove banjo from hole with cooton bud
I had to tape two cotton buds together longways to get it out

The official schedule is to replace every 50,000km (30,000 miles) although it's recommend to change it annually especially if using veg oil. It looks like this:

There is also (should be ) a filter on the internal suction pipe in the fuel tank, might be worth knowing.

Next question, if you don't mind. Is the Bongo self bleed? i suspect not do to age.

Also that looks like a paper cartridge filter?

Hi
Cannister filter, and yes, self bleed...sometimes takes a while. Remember to fill the filter with a drop of diesel. Some have a priming gadget on the filter, but not all
Cheers
