Bongo Fury

I have found a small fuel leak in my 2.5td bongo.

It is coming from the small braided pipe as shown in the picture with the yellow cable tie around it (obviously not standard!)

At tick over it drips every 10-20 seconds, at 2000rpm it bubbles, dripping every 2-3 seconds.

I can see where it starts, but can not see where it goes.

My question is where does it go, is it an easy job to replace?

Don't know where it goes
But is there not enough slack to cut end off and resealed with a new clamp
Or just try a new clamp
I like jubilee type hose clamps

It looks like the return to pump leak off pipe. It carries the unused (unwanted) fuel back to the pump and tank.

my first thought was to cut and reattach, but there is not enough slap as the hole is about 3" from the end.

Cut where hole is insert rigid tube and resealed with. 2 x clamps
Best to trace and renew tho
If u do renew might be worth covering protectingipe
Has it been rubbing to cause the hole

It should be quite easy to replace the hose, you will need this or similar hose.

If it is the pipe mentioned, i cant get to the far end as it is out of sight behind a lot of metal

Will have a better look in the light tomorrow.

Long nose pliers will help with removal and refitting. The correct clip is a spring constant pressure type which is quite easy to slide down into position with the pliers.
