Tackeroo 7 April 18th and 19th 2015 - Cannock Chase

Hi Folks,

Who's up for Tackeroo 7 this year?

Subject to the site being opened (see link below to FC) we are aiming at the weekend of 18th and 19th April 2015. Tackeroo is a forestry commission site on Cannock Chase. More details here:

This is a very easy event, no need to book and just turn up and pay the warden/ranger when they come round.

Please be aware that the only facilities on site are water taps and waste points. So bring a porta potti etc.

The site is on cannock chase and is great for walking and cycling.

Don't forget, day-visitors are welcome too.

There's some great mountain-bike trails there in a variety of grades so sling a bike on the back of your van and pop along. Or just bring a tin of Spam to go on the barbie :wink:

And for day visitors there's no official parking costs as far as I'm awareand judging by the forestry commission website they only collect camping fees early and late
