Hi everyone, question from a newbie, I,'ve just bought our first ever bongo, a "dead one at that" (cylinder head cracked) I,m gonna fit a brand new head along with new pistons , big ends and mains. My question is :- as I,'ve taken the injectors out to fit to the new head I may as well reset and clean them, does anyone know what the injector break off is in atmospheres please, any help would be gratefully received, thanks in advance, taff,

Hi and welcome to the Forum.
No expert on injectors but make sure you find out why the head failed. Look up how to bleed the system, too.
Let us know how the project progresses.

Hi Bob, thanks for your reply, I have read something about the performance of bleeding the cooling system lol, I bought the bongo last week as a non runner, took the glow plugs out and turned her over and a small ( very small) amount of coolant was ejected from number two, I,m gonna whip the head off tomorrow evening, I noticed it was very very low on coolant though so I guess previous owner wasn't keeping an extra keen eye on this. A quick Google will reveal three You Tube videos, done be well known Forum members, and a little time searching 'Cooling System' on here will be time well spent.
Other than that the Bongo is a good old fashioned, simple, beast.
Well done, Butt.
