um looking for front and rear drop links and A.R.B bushes for a diesel bongo. I've been quoted £48 each for the front, which I think is slightly excessive. Any ideas? Not sure of the quality of the stuff advertised on eBay.

The club shop sells em
Anti Roll Bar Drop Link (Front)
Fits all Bongos & Fredas
£19.00
Anti Roll Bar Drop Link Heavy Duty Version (Front Pair)
A lot more expensive, but you won't need to change them every year or two! Only available in pairs as you must change both sides.
£87.00
Anti Roll Bar Drop Link (Rear)
Fits all Bongos & Fredas.
£26.00

Having said that, I've been fitting Vauxhall Vectra ones to my fronts. 2 pairs in 9 years?

As it's the rubbers which fail first on the cheaper ones, leading to water / grit getting in and making the joints fail you can over-sheath the joints with a secondary protective skin and fill it with suitable grease - as detailed in
this thread, and the one linked from there.
Basically, ARB links protected like this are still oging strong after almost 4 years now. The one I left unn-protected as an experiment was showing split rubber after 17 months.
