Clunk when braking

Billy clunks when I brake.

It only happens when it has warmed up.
It only happens when I touch the brake..
Once I brake it won't happen again until I have accelerated a bit.
Doesn't do it on the drive.. it needs to be out and about

It was suggested that it may be the clips on the brake pads...

Found NSF brake pad has a clip missing at the bottom.

Here is the top:

Here is the bottom: (clip missing)

Here is the bottom of the DSF: (clip there)

So questions are:-

Where can I get one of these clips...

How easy is it for me as a DIYer to fit it?

My clips broke when I changed the pads. Bought these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MAZDA-BONGO-1 ... 1c4958e2b5

As I recall: unbolt the calipers, move them out the way, remove pads and clips, fit new clips, re-fit pads with a smear of copper grease on the lugs that slide into the clips, re-fit calipers.

when these clips are missing the noise is more like a click than a clunk, a clunk could suggest its a suspension or anti roll bar problem.

I replaced the missing clip using the item from the ebay link.

Billy is clunk (or click) free now :D

Thanks for your help.
