Rear heater matrix plastic failure

Today rear heater matrix plastic connection snapped. A month ago I posted on here asking if the plastic was prone to failure and Northern Bongolow replied yes.
  why didn't I change it straight away. Luckily on a rough farm track just opening a gate when it failed. Alarm sounded an could see coolant running. Only a few hundred meters to work so no overheating issues.
Tempory U piece put between both pipes that go to rear matrix (as someone else on here has done) but had to call for antifreeze and wife to do a full bleed of system.
Think I shall now order a new rear heater matrix.

It would be worthwhile going for the all metal construction unit.

sorry mate.  .
alans veh services at plymouth do an all metal replacement that is good, give lorna or alan a call.

to help make up for the breakage, i will help your wife fit the replacement seeing as she can bleed a bongo if that helps any. :)

Thanks. Been looking at all metal ones got the all metal one for the front from e bay demisterman .
The rear one is £70 plus postage. Not sure if there are big differences in quality but will give Alan's a ring next week.
