Bongo Fury

I earlier reported loosing water this now seems to have stopped ? or perhaps I have just not done a long enough run on it yet to make a difference.I am wondering if last time I hah it in garage to replace a hose they haven't bled it properly.
However I was forced to run it again the other day and noticed a lot of heat coming up where the hand brake is the temp gauge remained stable but did move so not stuck. The above problems may be unrelated ANY IDEAS ANYONE.

There are quite a few posts stating by the time the gauge moves to high temperature the engine may be already damaged, check with the people who fitted the hose they are aware of the correct method of bleeding the cooling system, and bled it as per the correct procedure, also check the clips under the centre consul are clamped correctly and not allowing unwanted heat to enter the van, although normally if this is the case you get a smell of fumes entering the cabin. You should also fit a low coolant alarm.
