hey guys noticed that my interior lights were a bit dim so took a look at the leisure batt,
got only 9.5 volts charging there and 13.5v at main battery when engine running on tick over
and green light is not on?
does the little green light indicate that the battery is full or on when charging?
think our old raido was draining battery, removed it now.
anyone got any ideas??

run the engine and see what reading you get on the charge supply to the leisure battery when you put a meter on it, this will tell you if the charge side is working, or if its the leisure battery is duff. it maybe an idea to remove the leisure batt and stick it on a good charger.
it may take a few mins to fully charge the starter batt just after its been started as the glow plugs may still be on etc so the willinton will fully charge the starter batt first then switch to charging the leisure batt.

If your relay has a green LED it will be lit when the relay is energised so should be sending charge to the LB. Check any fuses you may have between main battery and the relay. My Willinton relay packed up a while back so I took it apart and found a broken wire. As it was an earlier version, I took opportunity to fit an LED and resistor across the coil so I can now see when it's charging.

My relay didn't come as part of a kit so not sure what the fuse arrangements are. I've got conventional blade fuses.
