What awning shall I get?

Hi all
I have a 2000 new shape bongo. I tend to go camping on my own with my dog and daughter. I have an enormous tent type awning but that is impossible to put up on my own. I would like a roll out/pull out awning so that the door is sheltered and I don't have to drag everything into the van if it looks like rain!
Please could you tell me what the options are for this and what size I would need to get, plus whether they need any essential items to be bought separately (I.e. fixing kits) also could you tell me whether they need to be fitted professionally or whether they clip on etc.
Many thanks
Vicky

Oh, that puts an end to my workmates calling it "the dogging bus"

I'm so sorry to not reply - I didn't get the usual message saying I had had a response.
I just logged on to ask you Mike your opinion - and see if you can do the fitting.
I also need to arrange with you to have the works done we talked about - not sure how I get the van to you and then get home again sans vehicle.
A demo of your would be great! (I will pretend I didn't notice anything vaguely smutty!)
Thanks
Vicky

Just seen this ....

Maybe I'll get the same. I've been on the fiamma website it's £264 - without the brackets - there seem to be a number of brackets to choose from - can anyone say categorically which ones I need?
Thank you!
Vicky

One thing to bear in mind with the F35 is that it's easier to put away with two people. You can do it on your own, but you will need to get the legs and rafters inside the tube before rolling it up. If you rest the tube on the ground this will be no problem. The F45 winds out and will stay in a roughly horizontal level which will give you chance to get the legs in place. It add about an extra 8 kg to the awning and is a bit more bulky.
Re brackets: I think it the VW T3 type (wedge shaped van), but someone will no doubt be able to confirm or deny this.

Brilliant - thanks so much!
Stuc do you have a picture you can post of the awning wound in? I.e. how it looks when driving.
I'm so excited about getting one - I need to find somewhere where it can be fitted does anyone know anywhere in/near Cambridge I can go?? Please and thank you!
Vicky

The awning rail you say the caravanstor attaches to. Is that an existing rail or one you add?

Scratch that, I found the answer on another thread. Attach ally awning rail.
