Hi Everyone
The tap in my sink unit has broken and I need a replacement, trouble is I don't know exactly which model it is,I've looked at various online sites and it looks very much like a SMEV, is there any way I can find out for sure?
Many thanks
Mr Bongo

SMEV is the most common make of combined unit. Mine has SMEV right across it so its obvious. Most caravan spares places stock taps. Take the original one in for a replacement as there are several models. One point to watch they come in right and left hand spout fittings. Some sinks it does not matter. Mine needed a right handed fitting for the lid to go down and the place handed me a left handed one which meant I could not close the lid. 321 Away found me the correct one.

If you know who did the conversion, contact them to find the right one. They are fairly fragile items so there are always replacements available.

NFT,thanks for the reply.
I have just been looking, and it doesn't say anywhere what the make is, however i am certain it is a SMEV, it's not a mixed tap, only the one blue pipe leading into it.

Unfortunately I don't have the details of the company that did the conversion.

Sadly I did take the original, broken piece to a local caravan dealer, despite having been promised next day delivery, and having to visit on 3 separate occasions, and despite them being told that I was going away on holiday so desparately needed it by today, they failed to delivery. Needless to say I won't be using them again!
Just looked online and it seems like I can get the item, £18 less than I was originally being charged.

My tap is a single supply cold water only. Whale pump into a water container. Its a fairly standard tap, not specific to SMEV.
