new to bongo

Hello. I am a new bongo owner and have two initial questions after being an owner a week. The first is mattresses - the bongo is uncomfortable! I am a camper and have progressed over the years to comfy beds. Can anyone tell me what they put in the roof to sleep on and how they overcome the none flatness of the downstairs seats when in bed mode please? Also, we have two double bolt things sticking out from the sides about half way down vehicle. Does anyone know of any covers you can get or ideas of how to cover them please. Looking forward to having many overnights in the bongo! Thank you.
