What are these?

Post by Steptoe » Sun Aug 03, 2014 2:58 pm

While fitting a temperature gauge yesterday, I found a disconnected wire hanging down the back of the engine hump, with the corresponding connector just being the handbrake. Any idea what this is for? I've not noticed anything not working so what is it? I'm guessing it was left disconnected by the garage after having the new water pump etc. done a few weeks back. It is the (reconnected) white connector in the centre of this image:

Also, what is the connector which fits in the back of one of the switch blanks on lower right dashboard?

You will find connectors behind most switch blanks.....they are for extra bits of factory extras which yours doesn't have fitted.......could be anything, exhaust valve switch, front fogs etc

I was just wondering what I don't have!

I thought I had most of the gadgets already.
