Bongo Fury

My airbag warning light has come on, it is flashing in a sequence of 6 flashes, then a gap of 3 seconds before another 6 flashes.
Does anyone know if this is a common problem, and if it is a serious matter?

It will need rectifying before next MOT as that will be a failure
