Me too, I think this is brill. I have been tussling over side or rear conversion for a while and I think I have now settled on this one as it retains one of the Mazda seats which is a bonus. I would like to have seen the box seats in position so I can see how it perfoms as a bed. Awe, any chance of a few more picks please?

As requested,
As you can see the fronts of the seats slide out on heavy duty drawer sliders.
The base of the seats are made of two pieces of 12mm ply joined together with a piano hinge, they unfold to make the bed base. The original seat then slides up to make the full bed

Thank very much for taking the time, I think you have a great combination there. Very versitile and still carries 5 passengers.
As an ex shopfitting joiner I was considering doing my own conversion. Easy enough with the right tools which I have but to be honest the quality of the units made for self fitting is hard to beat and makes me wonder..why bother!
Are these Tranzwagen units?

They were bespoke made by a local joiner/carpenter, only the second bongo he'd done. Had done a few t4's. Well pleased with the units, he even fitted a piece of 12mm ply the full length of the van under the carpet, so the units had a even level surface to sit on. Also fitted a leisure battery and split charge system.

Can you give us an idea (ball park would do) of the cost? Or if you'd rather not can you drop me a message with the contact details of the chap concerned please? I'm looking at getting a rear conversion pretty much the same as that, and a split-charge leisure battery setup, done once the summer is over. The NE is much closer to me than the SW, and the quality looks excellent.
