I bought my Bongo 2 weeks ago and I have just had to cancel my insurance for it as the docs came back with 'Mazda E2000 double sliding doors' on it! Used Budget insurance so I rang them to see if they could sort it out - the lady on the phone basically did a new quote and came back with £1505! So now I have no insurance and my poor Bongo is parked up until I find new insurers!
Had a quote from 2gether - are they any good? I tried to ring them to set it up but they aren't open on Sundays.
Also are lifesure any good?
Tried Aviva but they were quite pricey!
Thanks!

Re: Insurance nightmare!!!
If it's converted and on the V5 as a motor home .. then the Camping & Caravan Club are OK ..
If it's unconverted maybe try Adrian Flux .. or Chis Knott.. and mention that you have had a recomendation on the Bongo Fury Forum ..

Lifesure quoted me £250 ish for a converted 1996 diesel. This was just 2 weeks ago, and they have seemed efficient and pleasant.

Admiral, just get email confirmation that they are aware that it's a 'grey' import. Very Good deal as part of a multicar policy.
