Bongo Fury

Hi all just brought a removable rear cupboard off ebay and not sure how it fits in rear of my van ive been told it goes on to the bolts that the rear fold up seats went on but I cant see how, can someone please explain how to do this as may be im missing some bits or just being thick or if anyone knows someone to do it for a bit of cash local to the salisbury area im willing to drive to you just need this fitted properly many thanks

It looks like the holes, in the cross support, fit on the seat mounting bolts - that's how mine worked

That's what I thought but I can't seem to get it to go but will give it another try tomorrow as I'm off work and will have more time thanks again

Do I have to remove the gull bracket off the floor that the fold up seat locked into or does it it stay

If it is one of the usual styles.... the rear seat is removed and the said unit uses the 4 studs to locate on and the nuts are then tightened down again.... That's the usual way for the rear types for the wing seat models
The seat bracket in the floor usually is left but you could remove it if it's a problem with siting your unit

Yes it is, but if the unit sits Flat on the floor with the floor basket removed it is not flush at the top of the cupboard so to get it flush up the top it needs the bracket I guess but the cross member bit off wood looks like it is missing the section that goes onto the bolts as the one in my photo doesn't go anywhere near the bolts

The back right hand side corner of the worktop appears to have a cutaway for some reason?. I would contact the seller and ask them exactly where they had the cupboard installed in their vehicle.

Are you definitely fitting it to the correct side of the van?

It's drivers side rear where I'm fitting it but only have a bit of wood going from one side of the cupboard to the other and there's a
a tiny bit of ply wood on it and does nothing but rest on the wheel arch cover

This should give you an idea how it is fixed to the vehicles brackets/hinges..
