The venue for the main (national) bash hasn't changed in recent years as there aren't many sites with adequate facilities who are able to accommodate 200 vans. There are regional camps spread out, in the south these have been at Hayling Island, Looe, King's Lynn, Reading etc.
Groups of owners in a field talking Bongos, drinking beer & incinerating perfectly good food is about right. Although at the national bash there's bands in the evening playing and other daytime activities to keep people occupied, plus normally a coach trip to a local attraction.
