rear heater one temperature

Hi gang,
Now the weather's warming up, I've noticed that the rear heater (2001 'digital' control model) is only blowing one temperature - ambient. Any thoughts on likely causes? Is there some linkage which may have become disconnected? Blockage in pipes, etc? Thanks in advance for guidance.

Very similar setup to the front in terms of the parts but in different locations look at the Rear Heater here

Thanks. Is this accessed from inside or underneath?

Inside behind the plastic trim back of the drivers seat - or behind the fridge if you have a side conversion!

So I had a look this evening. It seems that it is working fine, but with a strange feature, which may or may not be intentional! Firstly I discovered that the vent pipe carrying the blown air to the ceiling vents was fitted the wrong way round, which explained a reduced airflow from here

After rectifying this, I had a play with the controls with the interior trim off and found out the following. When the blower is set to blow to the feet, the air goes warm and cold, depending on the 'stat position. Good. But, if you direct it to the ceiling vents, it blows cool. When set to both, it seems to still only blow cool to the ceiling, but hot or cold (as above) to the feet. Most odd. Is this normal behaviour? (assuming my rambling explanation makes any kind of sense!)
Cheers, Dave.

Were you playing with this with the engine running?
