Bongo Fury

Just wondered if it was worth having a go at recovering my tired looking seats. Any advice on fabrics, adhesives etc much appreciated.

It's not that hard if you have a sewing machine that can cope with heavy fabrics. It just depends whether you can find a night-school class on upholstery. If you have time , you can take off the old covers one at a time , and re-make them in new fabric, then find some new sponge for the seats. Cutting the foam isn't hard, as you can sculpt it with an electric carving knife...The correct foam is easier to come by in the UK than it is over here, plus you can get the thin covering to go over the sponge that aids getting the new covering on. If you have the Bongo as a second car, it'll make a nice winter project!

As above really, its not rocket science.
Have a chat with a local coach operator as they will have atrade contact who may do them cheap.
Buy an old seat from the scrap yard and have a go
