Troubleshooting a leaking sun roof

My tin top is getting advanced in years and had developed a leaky sunroof. The drain holes seem to be working. If it is parked during a short shower you can see where water has run through on to the ground below. The worst of the leak is at the front of the sunroof. Not a pleasant awakening on rainy nights. There is no seal round the edge to remove and replace or plump up with some silicon.

Has anyone dealt with a similar problem or has any ideas how to fix it.

does this help with the position of the seals/drains

looks like there is a valve at the end of each drain tube, marked X

Looks very interesting Addy. No sign of a seal round the glass, which is exactly how it looks on the Bongo. The glass is a tight fit against the roof and relies on the drains to carry away any excess water. There appear to be three drains so one or more could be blocked. The next step I think will be to get the drains blown through with an airline. Once it has been found all of them are working then I will get stuck again.

At least the motors are all working. there is no sign of any alternative way to wind the roof by hand.

You will probably find that they use straight through tubes ( No Valves) going through Grommets.

And weather strip.........LA8969825
