Is this wire important?

Whilst taking the seats or today I managed to accidentally pull out a wire. It's two wires together, black and red and runs along the back bottom edge, under the plastic/carpet. Can anyone tell me what it's for and how and where I need to reconnect it to? I've checked the lights, sockets, speakers and all are fine. Thanks.

rear fog light maybe,
or if you have a towbar fitted it maybe the link for the other indicator, all the others for the towbar socket are taken from one side of the van behind the rear light, but one side indicator is not there so a link is pinched from the other side.

Hi
Fascinating stuff, really, you just follow it until you find what's at the other end!...
It kind of reminds me of a house I bought once...I did what I could, and 'Im indoors Mk 1 did his bit....builders, etc. ...well, it was a few hundred years old....When it came to the bathroom...BOYO!...The electcric sockets and washing machine had to go!...so it was time to get a meter out and follow the wires....floorboards up, and 30 metres of extraneous wiring removed....JOB DONE.....

...so your Bongo won't take half as long!...
Cheers
Helen

Haha Helen&Tony, I did try following it but it would have meant removing the side panel where it disappears into and I was a bit reluctant to risk any more damage that I would struggle to rectify!! Thanks for the replies, I'll check the fog light. It's running along the boot bottom edge, not the front so guessing not the seatbelt warning but thanks for the suggestion Darkstar.
