Noisy Roof

Mark Wilkins sent me this, and I'm now asking the experts!

"When I turn my bongo on the roof-open warning light on the dash flashes accompanied by the beeping. (The roof is clearly closed.) It first happened yonks ago and by just cleaning and fiddling with the sensor/switch in the upper roof rail, I managed to cure it. However it has started up again, and a further bout of cleaning and re-adjusting has, this time, failed to stop it.

Is it time to replace the sensor/switch with a new one? And if so are they available?

Or is there something else I should be trying?

Thanks for your time"
