Hi back again Im afraid. We were out in the bongo today, when I put my foot on the brake to slow down the temperature gauge dropped
right down to nothing.
I have checked the water and there doesent seem to be any problem there as it is at the correct levels.
Wondered if anyone had any idea what it might be grateful for any help
many thanks

(I'm assuming it's a diesel - correct me if I'm wrong)

The dash temp gauge is fed from a sensor under the driver's seat. Did it come back up when you drove away again, or since?

Check the connection (6 in Engine bay (offside) view)...

Does it happen every time you apply brakes?? Could be a electrical problem ( faulty earth to dash unit) .. Check connection on sender unit as mentioned above...
