Bongo Fury

Hello,
I've just bought some airlift suspension for the rear of our Bongo:-

I gather you have to fit them upside down which I guess means fitting the air spring so the air fills in from the bottom.
What I'm unclear about is if I have to fit the spacers upside down or not - any advice much appreciated.

Sure I assembled mine as per the drawing, and then just rotated it so that the valve was at the bottom.

Fitted mine as per instructions as well, be ready for some swearing re fitting cus they ain't the easiest ....but well worth it once there on!!

Valve at the bottom and once you've done that, you can only really get the spacers one way round. Note: there is no way in the world you can squish it thru the tiny hole in the bottom of the suspension arm as shown in the (generic) instructions so it has to go between the coils. Personally, I used a spring compressor to remove the springs, fitted the units in place and then refitted the whole lot. Apparently some folk have been able to fit them in situ, but I gave up and did it the easy way.







I ran both tubes to a T piece and then fitted a single valve out the way in the plastic trim that covers the fuel pipe in the o/s/r wheelarch:
